The Light House serves as a beacon of hope to Anne Arundel County's most fragile neighbors. For over two decades we have been steadfast in our mission of rebuilding lives with service and compassion by providing shelter, preventing homelessness and empowering people in Anne Arundel County as they work to become self-sufficient.

The Light House is a program of Annapolis Area Ministries, Inc. and is supported by the fundraising efforts of the Friends of Light House Shelter, Inc. - both are 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations. We depend on the constant financial support and volunteer contributions from many private citizens, members of the the faith-based community, business partners, and government agencies.

Light House is pleased to be a recent gleaning partner of Annapolis FRESHFARMS Market! Each Sunday the Shelter receives fresh fruits, vegetables, and baked goods that were not sold during market hours. The donations are picked-up and delivered by a dedicated group of volunteers. We are thrilled to be able to offer a bag of healthy produce along with our weekly lunch distribution.

Annapolis FRESHFARM Market is located on Compromise Street on the Harbor in downtown Annapolis. The Market is open Sundays from 8 AM to noon through November 22nd. Please visit www.freshfarmmarket.org for more information.
