Annapolis, Md. (April , 2026)The Light House, an Annapolis-based nonprofit that provides homelessness prevention and support services to over 100 community members in need daily, is pleased to announce the promotion of Randall (Randy) Wolf to President and Christina (Tina) Faass as Vice President of its Board of Directors, effective January 2026.

Wolf, who has served as Vice President of the board since 2023, brings extensive experience working with nonprofit boards and a strong commitment to The Light House’s mission. A long-time member of the Community Engagement Committee, he has helped shape and expand the organization’s presence in the community. He succeeds Peter Evans, who had served as President since August 2024, and completed his term in January 2026. During his tenure, Evans oversaw several key initiatives, including the hiring of The Light House’s new Executive Director, David Alt, in fall 2025.

Faass, who serves as the Calvary Methodist Church representative, has been a Board member since 2024, and will now replace Wolf as Vice President. She brings a distinguished public service career, and is an active volunteer at The Light House, supporting the Client Choice Pantry and community hot lunch program, as well as making dinner with her church once a month. In addition, she is a member of the Social Enterprise Committee and previously served on the Human Resources Committee.

“We are proud to welcome Randy Wolf and Tina Faass to their new leadership roles on The Light House’s Board of Directors,” said David Alt, Executive Director of The Light House. “Throughout their years of service, both have demonstrated exceptional leadership and a strong commitment to our mission. We are confident that they share a deep understanding of the direction and the priorities of The Light House and will provide steady leadership in the years to come. At the same time, we are grateful to Peter Evans for more than six years of steadfast board service. His dedication, professionalism and wonderful sense of humor have made a lasting impact on our organization.”

The Light House’s Executive Board also includes Brooke Steinau, Treasurer, and Helen Patterson, Secretary, who will continue serving in their current positions on the board. Steinau became Treasurer in June, 2025, after serving for several years on the Finance Committee. She brings extensive financial experience and has been a long time volunteer at the Light House. Patterson joined the Board in 2019 as the representative from St. Margaret’s Church and has served as Secretary since July, 2024. Patterson served on the Liaisons Committee before becoming Secretary where she worked to strengthen The Light House’s partnerships with local churches and community organizations.
