We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our dear friend, Nancy Slepicka.

Nancy had a heart for her community and we were one of the lucky organizations to benefit from her guidance, service, and generosity. She and her husband, Lon, have been longtime supporters of Friends of The Light House events and our Light House mission to break the cycle of homelessness. Nancy’s level headed, thoughtful input as both a Light House Board Member and as Chair of our Governance committee helped us to make sound decisions.

We were very fortunate to have Nancy’s kindness, warm heart, and quick wit on our side and she will be dearly missed. Our entire Light House community holds Nancy’s family, friends, and loved ones in our hearts.
