Thank you to the students at Anne Arundel County Public Schools (AACPS) Maryland City Elementary and Glendale Elementary and the Kids for Kids Fund of The Giving Square for their generous donations of $1,000 to The Light House!

The Kids for Kids Fund program aims to activate a philanthropic disposition in children through a school-based curriculum. During the program, students explore their unique stories, step into the shoes of others, and learn about local non-profits. The participants in this program used their new knowledge and expertise to make an informed decision about how to allocate their donation. We are grateful that this incredible group of students chose The Light House for the important work we do to support kids in our community who are struggling with homelessness and hunger!
