Project Tour
The current shelter (which will be sold when we move) is located in a 120-year old building with under 5,000 square feet of space. Our new center will be a brand-new building with 24,000 square feet. This expanded facility will allow the Light House to meet the needs of those it currently turns away.

Day Center
The Day Center will allow chronically homeless people find shelter from extreme weather and safety from the streets. Here they will have the opportunity to tend to their basic hygiene needs with showers, restrooms, laundry, new clothes and haircuts. They will also receive food and basic human services.
The new center will provide an opportunity to receive mail, phone calls and access personal computers. Chronically homeless clients who complete individualized plans for self-sufficiency will gradually gain access to more support services.
